## What agents can do

The authoritative tool list is the live `tools/list` response (41 tools); main groups:

- Hotel search and pricing: search rates and availability (post_hotels_rates, post_hotels_min_rates), lock the chosen rate and get its checkout link (post_rates_prebook, get_prebooks_prebookid), tax details (getHotelTaxSchema).
- Hotel content: hotel details and reviews (get_data_hotel, get_data_reviews, post_data_hotel_highlights), hotel lists and natural-language search (get_data_hotels, get_data_hotel_search, get_data_hotels_semantic_search, get_data_hotel_ask, get_data_hotels_room_search).
- Flights: search fares (post_flights_rates), re-price the chosen fare and get its checkout link (post_flights_verify).
- Existing bookings: find a customer's hotel bookings with listBookings (the email and last name used to book; both must match). Look up, amend or cancel one with its booking ID plus the booking email: hotel bookings (get_bookings_bookingid, put_bookings_bookingid_amend, post_bookings_bookingid_alternative_prebooks, cancel_hotel_booking), flight bookings (get_flights_bookings_bookingid, get_flights_bookings_bookingid_services, get_flights_bookings_bookingid_cancellations, post_flights_bookings_bookingid_cancellations) and tour bookings (getExperienceBooking, getExperienceBookingCancelPreview, cancelExperienceBooking).
- Reference data: countries, cities, currencies, IATA codes, airports, airlines, hotel facilities, hotel types, chains, languages.

## How booking works

- Hotels: post_hotels_rates -> post_rates_prebook -> checkoutUrl. To find a hotel by name, call get_data_hotels with hotelName and cityName (or countryCode), then pass its id in hotelIds.
- Flights: post_flights_rates -> post_flights_verify -> checkoutUrl.
- Give the user the exact checkoutUrl. The user reviews the price, pays and receives confirmation on https://book.maqami.co. Payment is taken only on book.maqami.co, never through the MCP tools.
- Amendment and cancellation tools act on real reservations: call them only when the user explicitly asks.
